This counted cross stitch pattern was designed from Artwork by French School Artists from a poem by Giovanni Boccaccio. (THIS IS A LARGE VERSION)

The image above is a mockup representation of how the design will look once finished, if the pattern is followed and DMC colours used. We have been designing since 2000 and our mockups are very close to the finishes. If we receive a stitched finish image we will display it in the listing over time also for you. Colours = 92 DMC colours
Finished size = 28.5" x 39.5" using 14count, 25" x 34.5" using 16count or 22" x 30.5" using 18count

Only full cross stitches are used in this pattern. It is a black and white symbol pattern.

If you already have this full version pattern and would like to stitch this smaller cropped version there is no need to purchase the cropped version as well. To stitch the cropped section lay the full version pattern out in number order on a table or floor and look at the number grid at the top and left. You will start at 8 stitches across and 7 stitches down and go to 391 stitches across and 336 stitches down.

It may help to draw a dark line on the pattern grid around this area so you can easily see where to stitch on each page for the cropped versions. (please count the blank rows we leave around the pattern as one stitch as well)
