This counted cross stitch pattern was created from a painting by Michelangelo. This is a huge challenging pattern, it took Michelangelo 4 years to paint this ceiling, I expect it will take that long to stitch too.
Please note: We have retired our old Sistine Chapel design. It was darker and had a line down the middle of the image, like the photo had been scanned from a book, but that was the only image available at the time back in 2007 when we made the first pattern. For any members from our old membership plan, this new pattern is in the redo area of our old membership website. If you have previously purchased a copy of our old Sistine Chapel design and would like the newer version we would be happy to email a copy to you for free we just need proof of payment for the first design.
